Preparatory webinar

ERC 2023 stg/CoG calls

SCOPE

Our online webinars inform potential applicants about the ERC-2023-StG/CoG calls and provide them with important tools to help prepare competitive proposals. The webinar is structured along two different tracks:

"Call in-depth analysis": This webinar provides applicants with an overview of the ERC calls´ unique aim and scope. The features of the calls are reviewed in depth, including the one-step submission and two-step evaluation, application content, specific evaluation criterion, evaluator profiles, etc. After completing the webinar, participants will be able to determine if their project idea aligns with the focus of the ERC calls, how to evaluate themselves as competitive candidates, what evaluation criterion they will be judged against, how to choose the right evaluation panel, etc.

"Proposal Best Practices": In this webinar we share our experience and best practices from having worked on more than one hundred ERC applications to date, guiding applicants on how to prepare a competitive scientific proposal. Ample suggestions are made in terms of structure, headings, content and focus. After completing the webinar, participants will have a good idea of how to organise the proposal in an optimal way, how to focus B1 and B2, how to avoid typical mistakes that applicants conduct, etc.

To encourage and facilitate interaction with the audience we recommend a maximum of 20 participants per session.
